The mission of the Oldham County Parks and Recreation Department is to acquire, develop, operate, and maintain a park and recreation system which enriches the quality of life for residents and visitors alike, and preserves it for future generations.

We will pursue this goal with the understanding of contributing to the attractiveness of the community, conservation of the environment and the social and economic health of the county.

We will offer diverse programs and strive to meet the recreational needs of all the citizens of the county. The Oldham County Parks and Recreation Department also recognizes our responsibility to be good stewards of the funds provided by the taxpaying public.
