Founded in 1824, Oldham County features beautiful
rolling farmland, a growing, diverse population, and a nationally
recognized school system. Located close enough to Louisville,
Kentucky's largest city, for residents to enjoy it's amenities,
Oldham Countians can still reap the benefits of a small
town feel with a rich rural and cultural history.
On this site you will find information about our parks and
recreation department, planning and zoning department, recycling
center, road department and many others. However, while
much can be learned by visiting a website, there's still
no substitute for experiencing Oldham County in person.
From the horse farms along US 42 to the unique picturesque
qualities of LaGrange, a trip to Oldham County is guaranteed
